A Little History:

Swarthmore, a lovely suburb of Philadelphia, adjacent to the Main Line, is the site of Swarthmore College, one of the country's most beautiful settings. The 125-year old Swarthmore Campus is on a rolling woodland of 325 acres, only 12 miles from the center of Philadelphia, easily accessible to Metropolitan New York, The Delaware Valley, Washington, D.C., and all of the Middle Atlantic States. The village of Swarthmore is charming and picturesque with interesting boutiques and shops. The tennis camp, in it's 27th successful year, combines professional tennis instruction with social activities and access to the cultural and historical sites of Philadelphia.

Location:

Swarthmore, Pennsylvania - easily accessible by car or train (Amtrak) - only a little over 2 hours from the Met. N.Y./N.J. and Washington, D.C. areas - and 12 miles from Philadelphia airport.
